    Z Special Company
Z Special Company was originally formed by Captain William Howard Livens, a civil engineer and inventor, in order to develop static flame throwers that were fired from Trenches which were eventually removed from use because they were not effective.

Capt Livens and the company then moved onto developing a Mortar that would launch special shells and projectiles including gas cannisters.
