Hartshill War Memorials

There are two known memorials in Hartshill. One was/is in Hartshill Church, for which we have a Postcard
in the gallery above. It was dedicated to the Men connected to the Church and Hartshill. The second is the main
memorial now standing outside of Hartshill School. All of the names below are listed on one or both memorials.

ERECTED BY THE VOLUNTARY CONTRIBUTIONS OF THE PARISHIONERS OF HARTSHILL TO
PERPETUATE THE MEMORY OF THE MEN OF THIS PARISH WHO FELL IN THE GREAT WAR 1914-1919.

Hartshill War Memorial has been relocated to the frontage of Hartshill School, Church Road, Hartshill. A service of re-dedication, led by Reverend Heather Barnes in conjunction with the British Legion, was held at 10.00 am on Saturday 30th June 2012.
